In 2001 it was inaugurated in San José de La Rinconada the new Cultural Centre La Villa, a modern multifunctional building which centralized the cultural needs of the town and its region.
A meticulous cultural programme and the celebration of different kind of acts, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, etc., have turn the Cultural Centre into the main stage of the metropolitan area of Seville, in which a large number of theatre and dance companies have their central offices.

ROMAN CITY OF ITALICA

The Organisation Committee of the 1st International Meeting on Graphic Archaeology and Informatics suggest a formal opening event at the Roman City of Italica. Italica is the best place to present the first celebration of this meeting ARQUEOLÓGICA 2.0, aimed to make Sevilla the capital of virtual archaeology in Europe. The old town of Italica, the first Roman city virtually restored in the world, will host the opening act of this event and will hold the presentation of the most ambitious project of virtual reconstruction in Europe: the Roman Baetica in the times of Hadrianus.
